Love Island alumni Shannon Singh made history in 2021 when she was the first Islander to be dumped from the villa a mere 48 hours after walking in when Chloe Burrows coupled up with her man Aaron Francis.

We know, it seems like a very long time ago now, but we still think it was brutal and very unfair.

Since leaving the villa though, Shannon has used her brief time in the villa to THRIVE, she's huge on TikTok and even has her own Twitch channel. Oh, and she's forever delighting her fans with unreal bikini snaps. We adore her.

Now, as we wait very patiently for Love Island 2022, Shannon has shared a HILARIOUS Tik Tok after she was sent an email that encouraged her to sign up for the series. We’re not sure WHY Shannon was approached, but we’re living for her response.

Shannon even posted the email on her Instagram story, simply writing, "😭😭😭 not today." LOL.

If you’re familiar with Shannon’s Instagram feed, you’ll know that she’s currently all loved up with her former boyfriend Ben Sterling, an international DJ from Buckinghamshire and they've just moved into their first home together.

The Scottish lass said last week, "We've finally found a house! We move in in the next two weeks, I'll show you guys everything I think you guys are going to love it.

"In the meantime we need to furnish the whole place which is going to be great."

Chloe may have caught all the boys' attentions as evidenced in a recent explosive episode, but you can see she's always been a stunner from this uni halls pic taken way back in 2015.

The likelihood of Shannon actually returning to the Love Island villa is very low, but stranger things have happened in the world of reality TV.

Applications for the 2022 series of Love Island are currently open, with bosses making some changes to the process for budding reality stars.

Ahead of the new series, bosses are said to have made some changes to the applications process to enough a diverse range of singletons to apply following calls for the show to include wider representation of different body types, race and sexuality.

According to reports, those in charge of the ITV2 show are hoping to encourage applications from non-binary hopefuls – meaning those who do not identify as male or female.
