Love Island star ‘on cloud nine’ after becoming a dad for the first time

Another Love Island baby has been added to the brood as 2016 Islander Terry Walsh has become a dad for the first time.

Terry’s fiancée Danielle Purdy announced the exciting news that she’d given birth to their baby girl Talia Renè-Rose on Instagram as she shared a series of sweet snaps of the little one.

In one adorable shot, Terry can be seen planting a kiss on his daughter’s head as she sleeps.

Alongside the photos, Danielle wrote, “Our precious baby girl finally arrived 12 days late on 09.03.21 weighing 7lb 5oz. She kept us waiting and on our toes in her emergency arrival but is everything we dreamed she would be and more.

“Words cannot describe the love and happiness. We are on cloud 9 and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives watching our baby grow.

“Thank you to our family and friends for all of the messages, cards and gifts we are overwhelmed with all of the love.”

Terry starred in the second series of the ITV2 dating show and is probably best remembered for being confronted by Malin Andersson during THAT epic showdown after he moved on with Emma Woodhams despite promising to remain loyal after Malin was dumped from the villa.

Terry and Emma split eight months after leaving the show as a couple and he later moved on with Danielle.

Although he mainly stays out of the public eye these days, Terry’s healing therapist other half revealed they were engaged in August 2020 before announcing they were expecting their first child a month later.

Terry isn’t the only Islander to become a parent this year as Theo Campbell announced the surprise birth of his son Aries last month.

Although he hadn’t publicly announced he was due to become a dad, the series three star confirmed he’d welcomed a son into the world as he shared a photo of him holding the newborn in a car seat on Instagram.

He wrote, “Damn, my replacement is here 👶🏽. 21 hours later and he’s here 🎉 I can’t believe the joy I had looking into the eyes of my baby boy ❤️. I only told a few friends and family so for most people will be massive surprise seeing this 😄.”

“Over the past four years having a private life isn’t really a thing so being able to keep this private has been so nice,” Theo continued before giving a shoutout to baby mama Sapphire Yhnell.

He added, “Massive well done to his mum as well, the process of having a baby is crazy I literally didn’t have a clue how strong a woman has to be to go through this!”
