Congratulations are in order for Love Island star Theo Campbell, who has revealed he’s become a dad for the first time.

Although he hadn’t publicly announced he was expecting a child, Theo confirmed today that he had welcomed a son in the world.

Alongside an adorable photo of him carrying the newborn in a car seat, the 2017 Islander wrote, “Damn, my replacement is here 👶🏽.

“21 hours later and he’s here 🎉 I can’t believe the joy I had looking into the eyes of my baby boy ❤️.”

Opening up about why he kept the pregnancy under wraps, Theo continued, “I only told a few friends and family so for most people will be massive surprise seeing this 😄.

“Over the past 4 years having a private life isn’t really a thing so being able to keep this private has been so nice.”

He added, “Massive well done to his mum as well, the process of having a baby is crazy I literally didn’t have a clue how strong a woman has to be to go through this!”

Theo ended the post by revealing he’d named his son Aries.

“Aries Campbell 07/02/2021 ❤️ #minime #daddy,” he wrote.

Dancing On Ice star Jake Quickenden announced in September 2020 that his girlfriend of two years, Sophie Church, is expecting their first baby together! The couple tragically suffered a miscarriage in 2019 but are now looking forward to their new arrival, announcing the news on Instagram and in an interview with Hello! magazine.

Theo was inundated with messages of congratulations from fans and his celeb pals including former Geordie Shore star Kyle Christie, who wrote, “Congratulation my man 🙌🏽💙.”

Fellow Islander Marcel Somerville - who also recently became a dad for the first time - added, “👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 congratulations bro.”

“I’m so so proud of you my heart could burst, wish I was home to cuddle my new nephew and I love the name ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” added Georgia Harrison.

Love Island’s Jordan Hames opens up about almost going bankrupt

Although he didn’t manage to find love when he starred on the ITV2 dating show, Theo is one of the many Love Island stars who have recoupled outside the villa and went public with 2018 Islander Kaz Crossley in May 2019.

Kaz supported Theo through the terrifying ordeal of losing his sight in one eye after an accident in Ibiza but their relationship wasn’t meant to be and he revealed they’d called it quits last February.

He said, "I don’t wanna say too much but I’m gonna say, people these days and love these days, it’s confusing. It’s a tricky hard world. I feel like with us, I kinda gave it my everything and it feels a bit under-appreciated.

“It’s a bit crazy at the moment. I don’t know what to call it. What’s the right way to say it? I got slinged! I don’t know what to call it.”

Theo added, “We had the best relationship ever. It was the best! The first six months, seven months, amazing. Then it was kinda like, I dunno, something just happened…”
