It’s no secret that the Love Island lot are partial to a cosmetic tweak here and there and the latest Islander to switch up her look is Mary Bedford who has unveiled a dramatically different new look after a teeth makeover.
The Leeds lass, who rose to fame last summer on series seven of the ITV2 show, showed off her now extremely pearly whites on social media after paying a visit to a cosmetic dentist who rejuvenated her smile.
Mary couldn’t resist showing off her transformation and beamed into the camera to reveal the results of her procedure.
The reality star and influencer her told her followers that she had been “very excited” to visit dentist Dr Bilal Arshad for weeks as she showed off his handiwork. Clearly very impressed with her new look, Mary said Dr Bilal had given her “the perfect smile”.
Although Mary didn’t reveal exactly what she’d had done to her teeth, Dr Bilal specialises in porcelain veneers so it’s likely that’s what the 2021 Island had fitted at her appointment earlier this week.
Last year, throwback of Mary looking very different resurfaced online shortly after she entered the villa which left fans wondering if she’d had any work done and she’s been very open about her history of cosmetic procedures.

Love Island 2021 star makes TV return and it’s Bafta nominated
In a video on her YouTube channel, Mary revealed that she’d had a boob job when she was 21 as well as Invisalign and composite bonding on her teeth, a brow lift, Botox and lip filler.
She explained, “This is something I’ve never spoken about on Instagram. I just haven’t felt comfortable speaking about it. It was an insecurity of mine and I had it done a year ago now. Obviously I am very young, I’m not promoting getting it done young but for me, modelling and seeing myself every day. I was so skinny at the time and I just had no boobs and I knew that I would never get them naturally."
“It’s not something to be ashamed of, so many people have it done. It doesn’t have to be a big secret, it was the best decision I ever made, it brought my confidence in bikinis up, in everything really. My two insecurities were my boobs and my teeth and I saved up and did my research,” she added.

During her time in the villa, Mary coupled up with footballer Aaron Simpson but things didn’t last on the outside world as she appeared to place him firmly in the friend zone during an appearance on spin-off show Aftersun.
She later revealed the real reason behind the breakdown of their relationship was because she wasn’t in the right head space for romance after finding out her grandma sadly passed away while she was in the villa.
“Coming out of the villa and finding out the news about my grandma completely threw me, I’ve never lost anyone close to me so it has been really hard to be honest… A result of this my head is all over the place, and all I knew is I wanted to be back home surrounded by my loved ones,” she explained on Instagram.
