Just days after her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced she was expecting her first child with fiancé Andre Gray, Perrie Edwards confirmed she also has a baby on the way with her boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a 27-year-old professional footballer who plays in midfield for Liverpool and the England national team.
He joined the Southampton Academy at the age of seven and made his first team debut when he was just 16. Alex also played for Arsenal for six years before joining Liverpool in 2017.
How did Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Perrie Edwards meet?
Alex first met Little Mix back in January 2015 when they took part in an interview on BT Sport, although Perrie was actually absent that day AND she was still engaged to Zayn Malik at the time. Instead, Jesy Nelson tried setting up Alex with a then-single Jade Thirlwall.
Luckily for Perrie, their on-screen flirting didn’t go any further and she herself was linked to Alex just over a year after she split from Zayn when they were spotted out and about.

Alex and Perrie began dating in November 2016 when she was spotted at one of his Arsenal games. The footballer returned the favour a month later when he turned up to watch Little Mix perform on The X Factor.
The pair went Instagram official in January 2017 when Perrie posted a photo of Alex with her dogs on Instagram, although this was later mysteriously deleted sparking split rumours. Perrie well and truly put the rumours to rest just a few weeks later when she shared a snap of them kissing at the Eiffel Tower. The same month, Alex accompanied Perrie to the BRIT Awards.

No, Alex and Perrie aren’t engaged and they won’t be for quite some time if her recent comments are anything to go by.
