Just two months after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke of Sussex has given another explosive interview about life in the royal family.
Speaking to actor Dax Shepherd on the Armchair Expert podcast, Harry compared life in the family to “a mixture between The Truman Show and being in a zoo”. He also said he wanted to “break the cycle” of the “pain and suffering” of his own upbringing.
However, the interview hasn’t gone down well in all circles, as some have blasted Harry as “entitled” and accused him of “trashing” his dad Prince Charles.

Harry opened up about his relationship with his dad Prince Charles on the Armchair Expert podcast as he claimed his father “suffered” due to his upbringing and then “treated me the way he was treated”.
The Duke of Sussex also claimed he wanted to quit the royal family when he was in his twenties and was forced to move to America with Meghan and their son Archie to escape his “genetic pain”.
Harry said, “I verbalise it, which is, ‘Isn’t life about breaking the cycle’? There’s no blame, I don’t think we should be pointing the finger or blaming anybody.
“But certainly when it comes to parenting, if I have experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering perhaps my father or my parents suffered, I’m gonna make sure that I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on, basically."

Both Buckingham Palace and Clarence House declined to comment on the interview but Harry has come under fire from some who have accused him of "pointing the finger" at his dad.
Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway said on the show, “Do you think, he has always been in the public eye obviously, but do you think he understands when he says these comments the devastating impact these comments will have?
“Because we have had people say to us already: 'What does he mean about the cycle of pain? I grew up in a house where there was abuse, I had all sorts of things happening in my life'... and of course we know pain is pain. It may be a different type of it."
She added, “He is telling his story but it instantly sounds entitled, and it sounds without empathy, doesn't he?"
