Love Island star Rebecca Gormley has updated fans on her injury after damaging her right arm in a horror fall back in January.
The former beauty queen previously revealed she almost broke her neck in the accident earlier this year, which left her with agonising injuries to her collarbone and arm.
Rebecca has kept fans updated on her recovery and, after having surgery to correct the damage, has now shared that she might not regain the full use of her right arm for at least nine months.
“As you know I’ve recently had an accident and had to have an operation on my right shoulder making it impossible for me to do the normal things I would do easily,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I have been advised it could take up to nine months if not longer for me to get the use of my arm back, so I have just let nature take its toll. My shoulder injury has really effected me in ways I never thought it would have.
“BUT I am willing to do whatever it takes to get back to my normal self and doing the things I love! I miss modelling so much and can’t wait to come back BIGGER, BETTER and STRONGER than ever!”

We really thought Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel were going to last but alas they didn't. A few months after announcing their split Kaz announced on Instagram that she moved on with 2017 legend Theo Campbell. They since shared cute snaps on social media.

So Jess and Dom were happily coupled up in the villa but when the boys voted for her to leave they were both left devastated… Dom wasn't that upset though because he didn't follow her. Then there were reports that something went down with Mike Thalassitis but after Dom left Love Island he reunited with Jess, the pair got married and are set to welcome their baby into the world this year.

Rebecca promised to “power through” her injury in the post, which she made in honour of International Women’s Day.
She continued, “To all you other women out there who are in the same or similar situations, I promise you will power through this! Us women are capable of anything.
“We glow through what we go through and will continue to do so with the support from one another. I am ever so thankful and humble for all of the beautiful inspirational women who are in or have been in my life you are all just incredible.”

The Newcastle native, who recoupled with fellow Islander Biggs Chris shortly after they left the villa, was praised by her followers for the “powerful” post in the comments section.
Former co-star Molly Smith wrote, “You got this angel 😍🔥🔥🔥,” while Eva Zapico added, “So proud of you!!!!👏👏👏.”
Rebecca previously told fans she was “lucky” not to have received further injuries in the terrifying accident.
She explained, “Basically I fell and I'm lucky I didn't snap my neck. You've got this clavical (collarbone) bone. It's like it came out of its place but it's damaged as well.
“I'm just absolutely sick because I can't do anything for myself. I'm very independent so I like to do things for myself. I'm so so frustrated, so frustrated.”
