Rita Ora has reportedly launched an investigation into how details of her illegal birthday party were leaked after it came to light that she’d breached lockdown rules by throwing a bash at a west London restaurant.
The singer was pictured entering Casa Cruz in Notting Hill via a back entrance as she celebrated her 30th birthday last weekend with more than 30 pals including Cara Delevingne and former TOWIE star Vas Morgan.
Rita allegedly agreed to pay a £10,000 fine after being visited at home by police but it’s claimed the popstar believes that one of her supposed friends could have tipped them off about her rule breaking and is desperate to find out who it is.

A source revealed, “Rita’s transgression coming to light has left her humiliated, not to mention potentially out of pocket, as she’s agreed to pay a £10,000 fine once it’s issued.
“Some of her closest confidantes have been getting in her ear suggesting someone on the guest list with a guilty conscience or a scorned friend who didn’t make the cut may have dobbed her in.”

This all comes after Rita, who has cancelled a number of public appearances in the wake of the scandal, issued a public apology on Instagram for flouting government guidelines.
She began, “Hello all, I attended a small gathering with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK...
“I'm deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk.
“This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgement. Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility.”
Rita continued, “I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe.
“Even though this won't make it right, I want to sincerely apologise."
