She’s expecting her long-awaited baby girl any day now and has been determined to capture every moment of her pregnancy. But while Stacey Solomon has told fans that this will be her last, insiders tell us she’s not wholly convinced she will be stopping at four.
After all, at 31, she’s still got plenty of time on her side. And with three boys (or “pickles”) at home – four when fiancé Joe Swash’s son Harry, 14, comes to stay – she’s well aware that she and her pickle princess will be slightly outnumbered.
We’re told that she’d love to give her daughter a younger sister and for them to have a bond as strong as the one she shares with big sis Jemma.
“Stacey’s thrilled to be finally having a girl, but now she can’t help thinking about having two daughters,” says an insider close to the expectant star, who has sons Zachary, 13, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, and two-year-old Rex with Joe.
“She’s so close to Jemma and couldn’t imagine what her childhood would have been like without their relationship.”

Jemma is a mainstay on Stacey’s social media, and has been pulling out all the stops over the past nine months to spoil and pamper her younger sis. As well as organising a surprise hen weekend for Stace, she also threw a pink-themed baby shower earlier this month. Posting on Instagram, Stacey wrote alongside a snap of her and Jemma, “Sisters…Thank you for everything, I love you more than you’ll ever know.”
Last week, Stacey uploaded some “raw and unedited” pregnancy pictures her photographer dad David had snapped of her in a nearby forest, telling followers that she was “taking in every second”. She added, “I wish I’d done this every time, but I’m so glad we did it this time. For the last time…”

But while the Loose Women star has said more than once that she’s not planning to have any more children, adding that she didn’t even know she could have this one after suffering a string of devastating miscarriages, our insider tells us that she’s not totally ruling out the idea in the future. She already thinks she has the perfect family, but having two daughters who are as close as her and Jemma would make things even more perfect.
“She can just picture two little girls together, dressing alike and bonding,” says our source. “That’s not to say she’s not happy with what she’s already got – she’s so blessed – but who knows what the future could hold?”
