Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp has been forced to cancel several work commitments, including a slot on Good Morning America, after being taken to hospital yesterday.
13-year-old Noah, who plays Will Byers in the hit show, apologised in advance to fans for missing his scheduled appearances, taking to Twitter to share a picture from his hospital bed.
Replying to Good Morning America’s tweet, he wrote: “Hi GMA and ST fans! Sorry I am missing this! Life imitating art. Nothin’ serious but bummed I won’t make it. Have fun tomorrow.”
He then responded to his cast mates and fans’ concerned messages, reassuring them he’s OK.
“Thanks everyone for all the good wishes. Working hard, a bad flu, all ok now... back to my day life.”
In other Stranger Things news, Joe Keery, who plays the part of Steve Harrington, apparently originally auditioned for a completely different role.
Turns out he wanted to play the part of Jonathan Byers, Steve's love rival when he first auditioned.
Speaking to Vulture about his first audition, he said: "Obviously I love the character. But right away, I was like, I don’t necessarily think I have the right look for that character.
"And then when I did audition for Steve, I felt I had a pretty good understanding of what they wanted the character to be.”
