We’ve experienced some absolute hair fails in our time but it’s been a while since we’ve seen one quite as shocking as Tommy Fury’s transformation gone wrong.
The Love Island star was attempting to get in the Halloween spirit by giving himself a spooky makeover and let’s just say, it did NOT go to plan.
Showing off a haul of ghoulish goodies ahead of his “favourite time of the year”, Tommy showed off a green hairspray and asked fans whether he should switch up his hair colour or not.
And after a whopping 85% of the boxer’s followers voted for him to spray his hair green, he took the plunge. But instead of turning out as planned, Tommy ended up covering his barnet (and his hands) in a shiny silver hue.
His girlfriend Molly-Mae found it hilarious as she shared the results in a video on her Instagram story. Tommy could be heard saying “I fudged up” in the clip, which Molly wrote, “I’m crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Green hairspray gone wrong and we have a house viewing in 10 minutes,” alongside.
She later shared a closer look at Tommy’s new ‘do and wrote, “I can confirm this is how he went to the viewing. Can probs see this hair from space.”

Tommy opened up about the mishap on his own Instagram, telling fans, “I never posted the hairspray thing because it fudged up,” as Molly giggled in the background.
“I put it on and my hair turned completely silver. It was meant to be green so it didn’t go to plan.
“I felt a bit embarrassed so just going to make it look like it never happened.”

Look! More news!
This all comes after Molly-Mae sparked engagement rumours after she teased ‘huge’ wedding plans with Tommy.
Asked how she envisages her own wedding day during a fan Q&A on Instagram, the reality star turned influencer replied 'H U G E'; with caps lock activated and exaggerated spacing for emphasis.
She even appeared to extend an open invitation to her fans as she added, “I have about three family members. Maybe I’ll just invite you lot.”
Well, we best go and dig out our glad rags then.
Molly and Tommy are the only remaining couple from last year’s series of Love Island after Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard split back in March.
