With the latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins rumoured to be filming in its new location of Jordan as we speak, excitement is at an all-time high for the next batch of famous faces to be put through their paces by former special forces agents.
Especially after it was reported that former Love Island stars Curtis Pritchard and Amber Gill have both signed up for the show and are set for a reunion.
As the celebs begin the gruelling journey ahead, former contestant Vicky Pattinson has spoken out to reveal some behind-the-scenes secrets as she revealed what the show is REALLY like. Is it as tough as it seems or do the cast secretly get tea and sandwiches flown in when the cameras are off?
Speaking exclusively to heat, Vicky said, “It's actually so much tougher. I had a couple of my SAS buddies on my podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret To podcast very recently and it felt so good to talk to people and feel understood. I just can't explain how much I underestimated it.
“I've had a couple of phone calls off people being like ‘I'm thinking about doing the new series’ and I felt that I had this real obligation to tell them ‘it's harder than it looks, there’s so much that you don't see.'
“It’s incredible when you look back and think 'I'm really proud for getting out of my comfort zone.' But I can't express enough, it is the toughest thing I've ever done. It was difficult to watch parts of it back, I avoided watching it because I don't need to relive it!”

Love Island's Priscilla Anyabu breaks silence on Ex On The Beach appearance
The Geordie Shore legend continued, “Honestly, for someone like me who spent the last five years of their life trying to be a positive person who surrounds themselves with people who have a similar mentality of practicing kindness, it was such a shock to my system.
“There is no moment when the cameras stop rolling and Ant Middleton comes over and goes ‘You're smashing this Vic, well done. Have a bag of Haribo.’ It just doesn't happen. They're ex SAS, they take it so seriously and they have a real reputation to uphold. So no, there's no moment where any of it slips. You're constantly in fear, you're constantly full of anxiety, you don't know what's coming next.
“It felt lovely to sit and talk with Foxy, actually. He said ‘honestly, I think they were all gutted when you left, you were their morale.’ It was nice to hear that, because when you're there, you genuinely believe the instructors hate you. You just think ‘I'm not good enough, I'm so slow, they hate me,' so it was lovely to have a chat with him, I saw him as a person rather than a giant man mountain.”
WATCH Love Island's Priscilla Anyabu: "They’re going to think I’m too dark - no one will pick me"
The next series of the Channel 4 show will look slightly different to previous instalments as it’s now filmed in Jordan in the Middle East rather than the Isle of Raasay in Scotland where it usually takes place.
Ant Middleton has also been replaced as Chief Instructor by Former United States Recon Marine Rudy Reyes after the former SAS man was axed by bosses. Rudy will also be joined by former US Navy SEAL Remi Adeleke.
Channel 4 announced Ant was being dropped earlier this year in a statement which read, “Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins. Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned and we will not be working with him again.”
