It may have only been over a month since they confirmed their relationship, but it seems things are already getting very serious for Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa. After sparks flew between them on Celebrity Big Brother in April, the Love Island hunk, 32, has now revealed that he’s already thinking about marriage and kids with the former Dance Moms star, 22.
‘I do see a forever here. I’d love to marry her. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day,’ Chris said. He went on to admit that they both want children, and that he has already received the seal of approval from JoJo’s family after he joined them on holiday in Orlando in May for her birthday celebrations. He’s also been invited as her plus one to a family wedding next year.
‘We were meant to cross paths. Meeting Joelle gave me this magical feeling. She is the most precious person… I’m obsessed with her. I’d do anything for her,’ he added. Despite their intense romance, Chris and JoJo aren’t planning on moving in together just yet and will continue their long-distance relationship between the UK and the US for now.
The feeling is clearly mutual, as JoJo recently said things between them are ‘going great’. She gushed, ‘He’s my favourite person and I am very grateful and very happy. I’ve never second guessed my happiness, I’ve never second guessed what I’m feeling. And I think that’s the most beautiful thing. When I think about him, I’m full of pure joy. When I speak about him, I’m full of pure joy.’
It comes after JoJo sparked pregnancy rumours when she asked fans to play the ‘two truths and a lie’ game on TikTok, listing ‘I’m pregnant’ as one of the options. Speculation was further piqued when Chris was seen gently rubbing her stomach on a video as she tucked into a plate of red and pink foods. ‘Pregnancy craving???’ one fan said, with another commenting, ‘Are you pregnant?’
The couple – whose ‘soulmate friendship’ played out on screen on CBB despite JoJo dating Australian actor Kath Ebbs at the time – went official in June.
‘It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development… I’m absolutely head over heels for him,’ JoJo said.
