Celebrity Big Brother returned with a spectacularly nostalgic and boisterous bang in March via ITV and our annual telly calendar just felt complete again, tbh. No shade, but we thought Channel 5's lacklustre version had buried the reality sensation and for all when it called it a day in 2018, and despite nationwide scepticism (from us, too – our hands our well and truly up) we were all pleasantly surprised by the 2024 offering. As brilliantly produced as the fresh reboot of Celebrity Big Brother was, let's be honest, its success was down to the celebs chucked into the house.

There were all icons in their own right, but without a doubt, the shining stars were former X Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh (who both openly admitted to forgetting they were mic'd up on the telly – iconic – resulting in gossip wild enough to kill off a PR or two) and, OF COURSE, winner of the series, David Potts.

While we've loved David since his Ibiza Weekender days, we saw a different side to this icon in the CBB house (one we loved, obv) and can't wait to see what influential waves he'll inevitably make this year (aside from encouraging us all to go trouserless this summer ✌️).

But if we – heat magazine, heya 👋 – had to put money on David's next movements we'd guess that his reality telly days are not done yet.

In fact, David is already thinking about his next reality TV show appearance, exclusively telling heat that he's seriously thinking about shows like I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (but more for our benefit than his, apparently).

David revealed, "I like putting myself into a position where it's out of my comfort zone. As I was doing Weekender, I got really comfortable with it because I've done it since 2015 so nearly 10 years. So I always enjoy doing things that are out of my comfort zone like when I did Karaoke Club and the detox show, and then Big Brother again was out of my comfort zone."

Speaking of I'm A Celeb (which, let's be honest, NEEDS to happen), David admitted, "I’d be awful in the jungle. I would actually be the worst person that ever went on though. Great TV for everyone, petrifying for me.

He then added, "However, I would go in for the weight loss. I don't even like rice so I’d be like, 'Send a load of beans down.' Maybe a jacket potato."

ITV, we know you like to keep it all within the family, so we'll just say this once: go with your gut and do the right thing here.

David joined the chaotic Ibiza Weekender in 2016 and was later a part of the Kavos Weekender team, as well. he also starred in Celebrity Ghost Trip alongside fellow Ibiza Weekender fella Callum Izzard as well as Celebrity Karaoke Club where he came in second place, losing out to Gogglebox legend Scarlett Moffatt.

In March 2024, David won Celebrity Big Brother; Strictly's Nikita Kuzmin was the series runner-up and Corrie's Colson Smith finished in third place. We NEVER want to see a all-male reboot of Charlie's Angels, but if it did happen, we'd want these three to be the Angels, FYI.
