Big Brother comes to an end this week after returning to our screens last month and what a series it’s been.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best welcomed the 16 housemates into one of the most famous houses in Britain six weeks ago, but just six finalists – Ali Bromley, Emma Morgan, Hanah Haji, Marcello Spooks, Nathan King and Segun Shodipo remain – and only one can be crowned the Big Brother 2024 winner.
One contestant we definitely wish we’d seen more of is climate activist Daze Aghaji, who was sadly evicted back in week two.
But before she even stepped foot in the Big Brother house, we knew that Daze would be able to make friends after she admitted, ‘I hope I bring a listening and empathetic ear [to the Big Brother house]. Having space to listen to people, and to chat with people. I’m a people person.’
And during her time in the house, Daze formed firm friendships with the like of Lily Benson and Martha Church, which we can't wait to see flourish in the outside world.
Here’s everything you need to know about Big Brother’s Daze…
How old is Big Brother’s Daze?
Daze is in her mid-20s, more specifically 24.
Where is Big Brother’s Daze from?
Reportedly swapping a houseboat (absolute icon) for the Big Brother house, Daze hails from London.
What does Big Brother’s Daze do for a living?
Daze’s announcement that she works as a climate activist was met with a mixture of cheers and boos in the first episode. Her official title is Environmental Regeneration Activist – no wonder she loves foraging so much.
When was Daze evicted from Big Brother?
Daze became the second Big Brother 2024 evictee on Friday 18 October. She received five nominations from her fellow housemates and faced the public vote alongside Ali, Lily and Martha. Sadly, the public voted to evict Daze and she left the house in 15th place.
What has Daze said about her Big Brother housemates?
heatworld caught up with Daze after she was evicted and she told us what housemate Lily is really like. '[Lily] also has this serious side to her, and I think that's the thing, she keeps the joy, but she also has serious side to her, and a deep side, and a vulnerable side that I think will come out throughout the weeks. She's very multi-faceted,' she explained.
Daze added, 'This is the thing I love the most about her - she is who she is, regardless of how people interact with her. And that kind of authenticity is so hard to come by in general; someone who doesn't feel like they have to contort themselves to be accepted. I think it's so beautiful and so honourable at such a young age.'
What is Big Brother’s Daze’s Instagram?
You can follow Daze on Instagram @dazeaghaji. Her profile is now open to public after she returned to the outside world and she's already amassed over 14,000 followers.
