Let's be honest, if you're watching Celebrity Big Brother, chances are you've wondered how much these A-listers are being paid to be in there. You might've even given it a cheeky Google and learned that Mickey Rourke was reportedly paid a whopping £500,000 to appear on Celebrity Big Brother 2025 and felt a little bit of sick come up. Absolutely fair.
If it makes you feel any better, rumour has it the Hollywood actor's fee is being cut now due to his inappropriate behaviour in the house which saw him leave the show over the weeken). So there's that. Allegedly, blah, blah, blah...
Anyway, we've still got a galaxy of stars in the Big Brother house all being paid extortionate fees to sit on their arses for two and a bit weeks and occasionally hop into fancy dress. Worth every penny if you ask us.

While all the rumoured fees have made sense (ish) to us, one alleged fee has left us raising an eyebrow; well, when you compare it to Mickey's ridiculous half a mill anyway.
According to The Sun, TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise is reportedly being paid just £20,000 for her stint on the show, but according to a telly source, the money doesn't even matter, as she apparently took the gig to shine a spotlight on her fashion brand BEMEÈ and get it back on track after a difficult few months.

The source told the publication, 'Her fashion line got off to a really good start when it launched and all her celeb mates modelled it for her - but now the website’s disappeared and nobody has posted on the social media for weeks and weeks.
'She’s hoping CBB will give her business a boost and sell some clothes!'

Now don't get us wrong, as journalists in 2025 we are not scoffing at £20K. We'd do Big Brother for free if it meant we could live somewhere where we didn't have to pay for heating, electricity or food, but given the fact that former TOWIE stars Kirk Norcross and Lauren Goodger were paid six-figure salaries to appear on the show back in the day, a five-figure salary just seems a little tight by telly standards.
Ella is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside the likes of Love Island's Chris Hughes, pop icon JoJo Siwa, TV queen Trisha Goddard, Drag Race UK's Danny Beard and CBBC legend Angellica Bell.
