You’ll need to cast your mind back to autumn 2024 for this Big Brother tea; a time before Jazz Saunders and Demi Sims were dating, a time before Casey and Gabby were £50K richer and a time before we finally got some Smithy and Nessa closure.

Big Brother 2024 aired between October and November 2024 and being Big Brother it, of course, brought the drama; we're talking rifts, feuds, alliances, romances (RIP Nathan and Baked Potato) – EVERYTHING. One of the biggest storylines of the series came courtesy of our winner Ali Bromley, who clashed with the majority of her housemates (apart from Dean Quinton and Lily Benson, who let’s be honest, was too busy shouting ‘TANGFASTICS’ at chalk boards to get involved in any major drama) resulting in some serious Big Brother dramz. Ali’s disagreements with various Housemates, at least in part, also contributed to one of the most rife house divides in the show’s history, eventually earning her the nickname, ‘The Red Witch’.

One housemate Ali certainly did not see eye-to-eye with was Khaled Khaled. The phrase ‘chalk and cheese’ comes to mind.

While things appeared to end cordially between the sparring housemates, their feud appears to have reignited IRL (well, on social media) four months on. And to say it’s been taken up a notch would be an understatement.

It all started when Khaled called out Ali for sending him alleged, ‘gross text messages’ after the show in a TikTok Live earlier this week. Naturally, the clip has been shared everywhere, and found its way to Ali.

Speaking of the Big Brother winner, Khaled revealed, 'Why was Ali so mean to you? See in there, I didn't mind it. Because she was neurodiverse, I was trying to give her some grace.'

He continued, 'This is the last time I'm speaking on it. She text me [after the show] and said some horrible f**king s**t. And I was a bit like, "that is disgusting," like, the show is the show, but then to text me afterwards and to say some mad, disgusting s**t like that, I was like, "Nah, I'm not f**king with you." I was like, I do not want to chat to her. I just left it be.'

He concluded the Live by saying, 'There was a lot of s**t with her that I really didn't like, but that was that, but then after the show, to still get that text, that's when I was like, "that is f**king gross, don't want to associate with you, you go over there."'

Ooft.

A few hours later, the plot thickened with Ali releasing an official statement on her Instagram in response, vehemently denying Khaled's claims, writing, 'It has come to my attention that a former Big Brother housemate made serious allegations about me during a TikTok Live. A third-party account has since edited this into a post implying that I have sent that person 'verbally abusive' text messages since leaving the house. This claim is untrue.'

She went on to claim that 'online behaviour from some former housemates' is mirroring her time in the house, which she describes as 'challenging' and 'painful, extending beyond what is widely known.'

Ali continued, 'Until now, I have chosen to remain silent. I believe there are important discussions to be had around homophobia, misogyny, bullying and harassment. However, I have also been mindful of not singling out individuals, as I believe we all have the right to move on with our lives peacefully.'

'However, misleading claims to continue to circulate, and I recognise that there comes a point where addressing misinformation is necessary,' added the series winner.

That same evening, Khaled took to his own Instagram story to reply, writing, 'Lol if it's all alleged on live tn. Let's see who's really fake.'

He added, 'This was never meant to incite drama, simply to tell the truth.

'I will not accept having to stay quiet especially when I don't agree with the way that someone speaks to me, especially when it's false slander.

'I only offer a live to give both parties a chance to speak their part since it's public, not for the vanity of 'beef'.

'This silly drama has not come from me, but simply a response to what has been sent to me.

'And I once again reiterate to my supporters to not attack anyone due to my personal conflicts with that person.

'Be kind, but always stand up for yourself and the truth.'

Khaled then partook in another TikTok Live to continue the conversation, after news of the fresh rift became widespread online within a matter of hours yesterday (Thursday 13 March 2025). He told his followers, 'Why would say I claim if I don't have receipts? That's the only thing with that.

'And it's not just me has seen it, other housemates have seen it, too. So you can just wait and see, but yeah, I've never been the type of person to do all that – all that drama s**t, that's not for me. And I have no qualms with people thinking this, thinking that – think whatever you want bro. I know the truth and I'm always going to stand up for the truth. I'm going to stand up for myself, I don't give a f**k.'

He continued, 'The only reason I said, "let's do a live," [was to] give her her part. I'm more than happy to give everyone a chance to speak their part.'

This is obviously an ongoing situation, with layers being unpeeled every hour.

So, above are the facts we have thus far, but please remember to be kind, always. Trolling is NEVER okay.

Khaled said it himself in his latest live, 'And once again, I do reiterate, this is not a case for anyone to go off and say some nasty s**t to [Ali] or anything like that. My personal conflicts with someone is my personal conflicts with someone.'
