What do you get when you take a former Big Brother housemate and put them together with a Love Island bombshell?
An online chat show, apparently.
Big Brother 16 contestant Simon Gross and Love Island 2024’s Lolly Hart have announced they’re teaming up to host a brand new digital series to discuss all things Celebrity Big Brother.
Celebrity Big Brother Extra will launch on Instagram Live at 8pm on Friday 11 April with special guest, Adam Nightingale, from Married At First Sight UK, as Simon and Lolly discuss the latest show drama and even interview the evictees.
To paraphrase Cheryl's iconic one-liner, that’s right up our street.
Speaking about her new venture, Lolly said, ‘I am really excited to be a part of this show with Simon. As myself and Simon have both been a part of the reality TV world, this will be a really fun way relive my time and catch up on all the drama in the house.’
Simon added, ‘Looking forward to being part of the Celebrity Big Brother series, reliving my time when I was a Big Brother housemate and being part of this iconic show, interviewing and bringing my personal experience to the table.’
If you’ve been a Big Brother fan for a while then you’ll probably remember Simon taking part in Big Brother 16 back in 2015. He entered the house on day one but was evicted the same night in a savage twist. He returned on day 18 in yet another twist and lasted until day 46.
His co-host Lolly rose to fame on the last summer series of Love Island, where she arrived on day 39. She coupled up with the very handsome Konnor Ewudzi, but they weren’t able to spark a connection and found themselves dumped on day 44.
