The latest series of Celebrity Big Brother came to an end last week and what a series it was. The producers definitely deserve a pat on the back for putting together an incredible line-up of housemates (and one celebrity lodger) who all brought the drama and the lols in equal measure.

One housemate who cemented themselves in the Celebrity Big Brother hall of fame – alongside the likes of Gemma Collins, Kim Woodburn and Speidi – is Louis Walsh, who had us tuning in every night to see which famous face he was going to slag off next.

We never thought we’d see Louis in the same place as Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Nikita Kuzmin and Lauren Simon, let alone living in the same house as them, but he spent three weeks doing exactly that and, dare we say, he actually liked it. But now that the series has come to an end, it looks like there’s one of his former housemates that Louis WON’T be staying in touch with.

During an appearance on the Hits Radio Breakfast show, the former X Factor judge told hosts Angelica Bell, James Barr and Producer Matt that he hadn’t swapped numbers with winner David Potts despite previously saying that he would.

“I didn’t give David my number – he's a nice guy but he sings too much,” Louis said.

However, there was one lucky housemate who managed to get his contact deets as Louis continued, “I gave my number to Lauren [Simon] and I loved Marisha [Wallace]. She’s a great girl...”

So now that Lauren has Louis’ number we can expect to see him on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, right? RIGHT? Make it happen, RHOCheshire producers…

In true Louis Walsh fashion, he just couldn’t resist making a dig at the rest of his housemates as he accused them of “performing”.

He said, “I wasn’t acting, I wasn’t playing, I wasn’t cooking! I was just sitting down watching everybody and they all wanted to win, they were all performing. Except me.

“I didn’t mean to be bad to anybody... but I did give my opinion on everybody. That’s just the way I am!”

Oh Louis, never change.
