Celebrity Big Brother has only been on our screens for a week but there’s already been more drama than you can shake a stick at.

Not only is Ella Rae Wise secretly seething with Chris Hughes and Jojo Siwa, but there’s been murmurings of tension following the first shopping task of the series – and that’s before we even mention the fact that one housemate has been kicked out.

Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke was asked to leave the house by Big Brother after making a number of inappropriate comments to his fellow housemates and it’s now been reported that he won’t be getting his full appearance fee after being given the boot.

It’s thought that Mickey was originally earning a cool £500,000 for his CBB 2025 stint, making hjm this year’s highest paid housemate, however he’s now expected to take home a fraction of that after leaving the house early.

The A-list actor will reportedly only receive £50,000 – a tenth of his fee.

A source told The Sun, ‘Mickey didn’t do Celebrity Big Brother for the experience and was counting on that money.

‘He’s lost a huge amount by leaving the show early. It was worked out on a pro rata basis. Conversations are ongoing so the fee may change but a contract is a contract.’

Now that Mickey’s fee has been slashed, Jojo will now reportedly receive the highest fee. It’s thought that she’ll be £400,000 richer following her time in the house.

At the other end of the scale, TOWIE star Ella is reportedly this year’s lowest paid contestant. She’ll apparently be paid £20,000.

However, according to reports, Ella’s motivation for appearing on CBB was not financial. It’s claimed she’s hoping to get her fashion brand BEMEÈ back on track after a difficult few months.

A source revealed, ‘Her fashion line got off to a really good start when it launched and all her celeb mates modelled it for her - but now the website’s disappeared and nobody has posted on the social media for weeks and weeks.

'She’s hoping CBB will give her business a boost and sell some clothes!'
