Let's get one thing crystal clear right away, shall we? Love Island is NOT over.

And yes, we know the final has happened and our king and queen – Ekin-Su and Davide – have been crowned, and no, we're not in denial, we just really rate each year's Love Island reunion show and this year's edition is yet to air. So, you see? Love Island is not over.

And just like that, our lives still have some purpose.

But once that reunion is over, we're back to whatever life was like before Love Island Series 8 started and start remembering what it was we actually did before dedicating our entire social calendar to a dating-themed reality show.

But just in case that doesn't happen, here are nine other shows to help you (and us) fill that void.

Not one, not two, but TEN series of Celebs Go Dating are waiting for you over at All 4 (there are also two series on Netflix). We haven't done the maths, but we're pretty sure that if you start watching Celebs Go Dating Series 1 Episode 1 today, by the time you finish the series, it'll be time for the new Winter Love Island. Problem solved.

American-British dating series Too Hot To Handle does what it says on the tin; so much so, in fact, that we’d argue that it’s a steamier version of Love Island. Here’s the show’s premise in a nutshell, “On the shores of paradise, gorgeous singles meet and mingle. But there's a twist. To win a $100,000 grand prize, they'll have to give up kissing and sex.” Three whole series are waiting for you on Netflix, in addition to spin-offs Too Hot To Handle: Brazil and Too Hot To Handle: Latino.

London Celebrity Sightings - January 21, 2020

The OG Celebrity Ex on the Beach is available on Netflix (yep, the one starring Callum Best, Joey Essex, Lateysha Grace and Sophie Kasaei) right now. That's all. Actually, no it's not - you can actually watch pretty much every episode of Ex on the Beach and Celebrity Ex on the Beach on Amazon Prime and Paramount+. Again, these should see you through to the moments winter starts thawing into spring.

Married At First Sight

Married at First Sight is television CARNAGE and we're outrageously here for it. In short, it's a BOLD af social experiment where single people are matched by experts, they then marry each other on the same day they meet for the first time. Find all episodes on More 4.

90 Day Fiancé6 of 9

Actually, what's a stronger word than carnage? Oh, we'll just go with 90 Day Fiancé, shall we? Not that anyone needs another streaming service in their lives, but if you're looking to follow eight loved-up Brits and their long-distance lovers for 90 days of - there's that word again - carnage, then you might want to consider a subscription to discovery+. This streaming service is also host other Love-Island-esque series, such as Love in the Jungle, Love Off the Grid, 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise and Beauty and the Geek: Australia. Seriously, these producers must be stopped (don't stop).

For those Nick Lachey nostalgia vibes alone, Love Is Blind is worth a watch. The American series sees men and women looking for love and getting engaged all before meeting in person. All interactions take place from within single, isolated pods and we're pretty sure it's what the future looks like.

Lovestruck high

Lovestruck High is a new dating-based reality show where Love Island/TOWIE wannabes attend a faux American high school and all the drama is narrated by Lindsay Lohan? Stop it.

The Cabins logo

ITV's The Cabin so painfully underrated. As part of this reality series, singletons ditch the dating apps in an attempt to find love; couples date and immediately move in together in their very own log cabins. Sparks fly, which in a log cabin can be pretty dangerous. Series 1 and 2 are available on ITV Hub.
