When Love Island host Maya Jama teased 'more twists' for series 12 she was not lying.
Within the first week of the show, two Islanders were dumped - Sophie Lee after 24 hours and Blu Chegini following a savage decision. After failing to couple up with anyone, it was up to Blu and Shea Mannings (the two vulnerable Islanders) to decide who would leave the villa.
While both declared they weren't leaving, in the end the rest of the Islanders decided to vote and it was bye bye, Blu.
For 39 days that is.
Remember what we were saying about twists? Well, Blu RETURNED to the Spanish villa, alongside Megan Forte-Clarke, and it felt like Love Island 2023 with Molly Marsh all over again.
'There's a bit of open space now and people know the game a little bit more, so hopefully the couple of girls I've got my eyes on are willing to explore,' he revealed ahead of his return. 'I told you all from the get go I'm not leaving and I'm not f***ing leaving!'

Anyway, now that he's been dumped for the second time, here's what you need to know about the series 12 Islander.
What happened when Blu Chegini was on Love Island?
During his first four day stint, Blu only coupled up with Alima Gagigo.
Their coupling came about because, for the first ever time, the girls picked the guy they'd want to couple up with based purely on their dating profile and nothing else - they didn't even see what the boys looked like.
Alima picked Blu, but he managed to put his foot in it before they'd even had a full conversation.
It all kicked off when Maya said to him, 'There's six girls and Alima has gone for you, how are you feeling about that?'
Blu then replied, 'Good. Every girl is beautiful here so...'
Luckily, Maya had Alima's back and said, 'Every girl is beautiful but Alima chose you, so...'
They all managed to laugh it off but after Blu and Alima had another conversation where he told her, 'I'll be honest, on paper you're not my type', fans let their feelings be known.
'"You're not my type on paper" does Blu not realise he’s talking to the most beautiful woman on the show,' wrote one person on X.
Another commented, 'I’m actually happy Maya checked Blu cause what are you talking about.'
A third said, '"On paper you’re not my type" Blu don’t even unpack because there’s no need to. Alima can have a double bed…'
One more added, 'Blu said he didn’t have a type in his interview but now Alima is not his type on paper.'
Safe to say things didn't work out between the Islanders.
After a recoupling Blu and Shea were forced to battle it out over who would keep their place in the villa and despite Blu insisting 'I'm not f**king leaving' - he did in fact, leave after his co-stars voted him out.
Fast forward to day 43 and Blu returned alongside Megan and he chose to take Angel Swift on a date. Despite flirting with Angel and Yasmin Pettet, Blu failed to turn anyone's head and he was dumped again on day 49 alongside Helena Ford.
He didn't find love but he did love drama and picking fights for no apparent reason. He argued with Shea just before he was dumped, he randomly argued with Toni (we say argue, Toni didn't care lol) and he hinted that Megan was acting different during her second villa stint due to the public's opinion.
