Love Island fans...or more specifically, anyone who cringed at ANYTHING Curtis Pritchard or Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu did on All Stars 2025, read on with caution. You have been warned.
No shade, though. We secretly adore these two after meeting them in the flesh this week.
And now we've just made ourselves shudder writing the word 'flesh'. You can see where this is going, right?
As we all know, Love Island stars are stripped (oh God, nooooo) of their phones before they enter the villa, which means if they make it to the final, they can go weeks and weeks without social media or messaging.
This means that if couples meet in the villa and spark up serious relationships on the show, they're doing so without phones or social media (practically unheard of in 2025). Here at heatworld, we've been thinking about this a lot and have become somewhat intrigued by the first message Islanders send one another – particularly couples. Is it something cute? Is it something saucy? Is it something LOL? Or is it something so shocking that the truth can never leave heat Towers? 👀👀
Now, let us tell you, Curtis and Ekin-Su are pretty loved/sexed up. They popped into heat Towers this week for a tea-spilling session and let us tell you, the PDA is strong with these two. Even when the cameras weren't rolling the smooching was SMOOCHING. As such, we had a rough idea where the conversation was headed when we asked them both, 'What was the first text or WhatsApp you sent each other IRL?'
Lest we forget their excitement at entering the Hideaway and their, erm, performances in the heart rate challenge. Spicy stuff incoming...
Well, as we hoped he would, Curtis whacked out his phone and scrolled back through the messages with Ekin-Su. Suddenly, their eyes both widened and Curtis said, 'Oh my God,' as Ekin burst into fits of laughter.
Curtis added, 'It doesn't matter.'
To which Ekin said, 'It's not a message, it's a picture of something.'
To which Curtis joked, 'Nothing, I've not replied to her ever. That's what we'll say.'
As they both composed themselves, Ekin revealed, 'Wow, I can't believe I sent that to you.'
No, sadly, Curtis didn't turn his phone around to give the camera a good look, BUT, we did chat to the couple off camera and get the deets and, yeah...
These two 😈❤️🔥. We get why Love Island producers didn't show us much from their overnighter in the Hideaway now...
