Love Island: All Stars success stories don't get much bigger than Grace Jackson and Luca Bish, really, do they? They're arguably two of the biggest Love Island stars going; not only did they smash All Stars earlier this year, but they're still together IRL – oh, and they look like Greek Gods made them out of clouds or marble (or however the myth goes).
Whatever, they're fit.
But, remember, even 'perfection' is never totally perfect - no matter who you are. For example, we recently discovered that Grace and Luca's first All Stars encounter was 'awkward' AF and it's nice to know they're both human, tbh.
In fact, apparently things were so 'awkward' between the pair in the early days of All Stars that Grace had to have secret chats with Love Island producers to help her figure out how to land Luca.
Speaking on the White Fox After Hours podcast, Grace revealed that the couple's first chat left both parties feeling majorly uneasy and it's safe to say we never saw this on screen.
The All Star revealed, 'The first time we spoke, he was quite shy. I was a little bit shy, as well, so we weren't really bouncing off each other and I remember he kept looking away when I was speaking and I kept thinking, "S**t. Am I really boring this guy? Is my chat not that great?" But I think he was a little bit nervous and then I was bit nervous.'
Grace continued, 'I remember saying to one of the producers, "He's so fit, but he won't look at me when I speak?"
'And then she was like, "Is that not quite cute, though?"'
She later revealed that Luca's 'awkward' energy led Grace to pulling eventual winner Casey O'Gorman for a chat first.
Grace explained, 'I think that's why I pulled Casey for a chat first, because Casey is just so funny and easy. I felt like I fancied Luca the most out of all the boys in there, so I was like, "Okay, I need to rev myself up first."
'But yeah, our first chat was a little bit awkward and wasn't that great, but I knew I really fancied him.'
See, guys, they're just like us.
Luca was one of the first Islanders to enter the All Stars 2025 villa on day one. He had a tough time finding a connection with any of the girls for the first few days, but that all changed when Love Island 2024 legend Grace bombshelled her way into the villa on day 8. The couple made it to the final together, finishing in second place behind Casey and Gabby Allen and are now official boyfriend and girlfriend.
