With 12 new singletons about to enter the Love Island villa as the show’s Casa Amor twist returns, our excitement has reached fever pitch.
We absolutely can’t wait to see who gets their head turned, who stays loyal, and all the ensuing drama when the two villas are reunited.
Ahead of the show, we’ve been casting our eyes over all the newbies hoping to find love and were shocked to find out that one of the boys already has a connection with one of the existing Islanders.
Yep, it turns out 23-year-old Butler in the Buff Alexi Eraclides and Jess Gale have already been sliding into each other’s DMs on the outside world.
He said: “I’ve met Jess on a night out before, we exchanged Instagrams then we sent a few messages but nothing came of it.
“It’ll be interesting to see how we get on when we meet again...”
It appears Jess isn’t Alexi’s type on paper though, as he admitted to having his eye on some of the other girls.

“Since the beginning of the series, I’ve fancied Shaughna. I also fancy Demi, she is definitely a bit of me,” he added.
But with Shaughna and Demi happily coupled up with Callum Jones and Nas Majeed, will Alexi be afraid to go against bro code to get what he wants?
Apparently not.
“I’m ruthless,” Alexi said, “I’m not worried about loyalty, I don’t mind stepping on anyone’s toes. If I want something I’m going to go for it, especially if there’s a girl I’ve got my eyes on.”

In other Love Island news, Sophie Piper and Wallace Wilson were brutally dumped from the villa in last night’s shock double elimination and 24-year-old personal trainer Wallace has admitted he was fuming at fellow Scot Paige Turley and her man Finn Tapp for not saving him.
He said, “I was chilling and I thought that’s me, I’m going to be staying.
“It bothers me about why Paige and Finn didn’t pick me to stay. I’m not bitter or a sore loser, but it just didn’t make any sense to me on paper.”
It seems like he’s not holding a grudge though after heaping praise on them for being a “genuine” couple.
“I do feel like they really like each other and it seems like they’ve been together for a long period of time, so I do feel like they’re pretty genuine,” he added.
