Sophie Piper burst on to our screens as one of the original contestants on the first ever winter edition of Love Island last year and quickly made a name for herself due to her turbulent relationship with Connor Durman and her close friendship with villa BFF Shaughna Phillips. Plus, she already had a claim to fame as the younger sister of The Saturdays singer and TV presenter Rochelle Humes.

Sadly, Sophie became the seventh Islander to be dumped from the villa halfway through the series but after racking up 800k Instagram followers while she was on the show, she has continued to work as a model and influencer for the likes of Pretty Little Thing, Boux Avenue and JD Sports. Not too shabby at all…

Just over a year after she left the villa, here’s everything you need to know about Sophie Piper including whether she’s still dating Connor, her pre-fame job and more.

Sophie and Connor are no longer an item. They might have had a bit of a rocky road in the Love Island villa but the pair decided to give things a go on the outside world, with Connor pledging to take Sophie out for Valentine’s Day.

Sadly, things just weren’t meant to be and it was reported that their relationship “fizzled out” just six months after they first coupled up.

Who is Sophie Piper's sister?

You'd have to be blind not to spot the insane resemblance between Sophie and her famous sister Rochelle Humes, who rose to fame as part of The Saturdays before becoming a successful TV host alongside hubby Marvin Humes.

Sophie and Rochelle were actually estranged for 23 years before being introduced by none other than Kem Cetinay, a pal of Sophie's other sister Lili.

Although it appears Sophie kept schtum about her famous sis in the villa, she later revealed to heat that she DID in fact talk about Rochelle with the other Islanders but the scenes were cut from the show.

“We spoke about it. They just didn’t air it,” said Sophie. Not fair, producers. We wanted all the tea about the Humes-Piper family.
