Love Island new girl Belle Hassan’s dad was on Game Of Thrones 😲

You may have been GUTTED when Game of Thrones officially ended forever last month but then ITV's hit dating show Love Island started, which cured all our sadness and brought some laughter and happiness back into our lives.

And the two shows have kind of (very loosely) combined as new Islander Belle Hassan has revealed her DAD was in Game of Thrones, starring opposite Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke!

Tamer Hassan featured in season six of the hit HBO drama as Khal Forzo, a Dothraki soldier who would not accept that Daenerys Targeryen would be his new leader. In an attempt to make him respect her, Daenerys killed the khals and bloodriders by burning them to death.

So, he didn't actually star in the show for that long but it is a fantastic claim to fame!

Speaking of her dad's role, Belle said, "My dad is an actor, Tamer Hassan. He’s been in The Football Factory, The Business, Game of Thrones – he is my link to the famous world".

"He is a very supportive dad, he is like my best friend and is always there for me. He’s told me to be myself but has also warned me 'I’m watching and I’m going to be seeing every detail!'".

The Bromley-born islander, who is set to get pulses racing in Casa Amor, is also good friends with 2018 Love Island winner Dani Dyer, after both their dads worked on a film together. How many more connections does she have?!

Whilst she hasn't said whether Dani has given her any advice for the show, she does seem very strong willed, saying, "You have to do what you’ve got to do. Do I worry about treading on toes? I do and I don’t".
