We were literally left crying into our morning coffee a few months back when it was reported that Love Island bosses had scrapped the infamous Casa Amor villa for this year's series, but now, after days of rumours about all of the new Islanders, ITV have officially confirmed its RETURN!
Taking to the official ITV2 Twitter accounts, bosses wrote, 'YAASSSSS! It’s coming… #CasaAmor #LoveIsland @LoveIsland', accompanied by a neon logo with the words 'Casa Amor'.
Unsurprisingly, fans were left hyped about the news, with many replying to the tweet expressing their thoughts.
One user wrote, 'Protect molly & tommy at all costs!'. with another adding, 'Ooh can't wait bring it on!'. [sic] A third then wrote, 'Just praying there is a luvly girl for Anton 😍..he deserves it,cant wait for Amber,Anna& especially Amy to be tested,#BRINGONTHEDRAMA...😉'. [sic]
If you've never watched Love Island before the 2019 series, you are probably wondering why the hell we are getting so excited about the return of Casa Amor. Well, let us tell you...
Around the four/five week stage, bosses try to test the couples by sending either the boys or girls to a separate villa called Casa Amor. Not only do they split the couples up, they also send in some brand new boys and girls, in an attempt to turn heads and create some drama.
Of course, if you are Love Island super fan you'll be aware that the Casa Amor test has caused some serious drama in recent years... who can forget when Jack Fincham's ex went in last year!
At the time of publication, ITV are yet to confirm which new Islanders will enter Casa Amor, but rumours are rife that builder Dan Rose, model Joanna Chimonides, and social media influencer Jourdan Riane are set to cause a stir.
Whilst we wait, check out the amazing Casa Amor villa below:
