Love Island viewers are convinced life in the villa is a little different to previous years as many have raised suspicions that Islanders are not sticking to the drink limit.
Even though it looks like the cast are living their best life every evening in the Spanish villa, they have to stick to a very strict alcohol policy and can only have two drinks per person each night.
A Love Island spokesperson has previously said, âWe provide our Islanders with all of the necessary precautionary measures and all alcohol consumption is strictly monitored by our production team.â
However, some fans think the rules have been broken this year as they noticed that some Islanders, mainly Chloe Burrows, Hugo Hammond and newbie AJ Bunker appeared to be slurring their words.

No getting drunk
According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.
No masturbating
No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.
No nudity
Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.
No books, phones or magazines
The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.Same goes for books and magazines, too.
No inappropriate language or behaviour
This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.
No discriminating against staff
Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.
Follow the rule book
Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.
WATCH âIâve got a tender bumhole!â Chris, Jordan and Danny go off on one!!
Taking to Twitter to air their suspicions, one viewer wrote, âWhat happened to the two drink limit? #LoveIsland.â
Another added, âI thought Love Island famously limited the amount of alcohol the contestants could drink they all seem absolutely sloshed this year?â
Love Island 2019 winner Amber Gill â who is providing the Love Island commentary we all need â was also convinced that the alcohol limit may have been broken.
She said, âThey are giving these islanders more than two drinks I swear! #LoveIsland.â
From an outside perspective, the Love Island villa is the perfect mix of relaxation, they just sit round the pool all day and wait to get ready for the evening, right? Wrong. According to former Islanders, including series two legend Kady McDermott, villa life is actually extremely dull.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan back in 2017, she said: âItâs actually really boring on the show - you have to entertain yourself for 24 hours a day⊠Youâre in your own secluded world, you know nothing - you donât even know what day it is really."
âThe days were very long, and the producers never let us sleep in past 9:30am [because] that wasnât entertaining. They used to wake us up through speakers,â she added.
âAt night time we werenât allowed a lot of alcoholâ, Kady continued.
âDuring the first four or five days when we didnât know each other we had alcohol to break the ice, but then after that it was two glasses of wine a night. And we were sure it was watered down as well!â
Maybe things are a bit different this year?
