Sometimes Love Island Twitter commentary is almost as good as Love Island itself. Despite Amber's (and a lot of viewers) lighthearted tweets during Love Island, the show is repeatedly asking social media users to #BeKind when speaking about the show. Last week, Love Island was forced to issue a statementfollowing 'wholly unacceptable' responses to the show aired on Wednesday 30th June.

The episode saw Shannon Singh dumped from the villa as brand new bombshells Chuggs Wallis and Liam Reardon joined the show. And, after the broadcast sparked some 'strong reactions', ITV has reminded viewers to 'think before posting' negative comments.

They said, "We take these matters very seriously and will support cast members and their families in reporting such posts.

"We would once again urge all of our viewers to think before posting, and remember that our Islanders are people with feelings."
