Love Island’s Shannon Singh, who was sensationally dumped from the villa after just 48 hours, thinks her fellow Islander Sharon Gaffka is “clutching at straws” after suddenly confessing her feelings for Hugo Hammond.
Hugo Hammond gave Sharon a lifeline in the latest recoupling by choosing her to couple up with with her despite their recent drama over his comment about not liking "fake" women. He almost reduced her to tears when he called her his “day one” and that “finding love is just around the corner for them both."
Hugo and Sharon were coupled up from the beginning until Sharon realised she had feelings for Aaron Francis.
Sharon and Aaron enjoyed a week of bliss before Aaron called things off after noticing “too many red flags”.

In last night’s episode, viewers witnessed Sharon admitting to Kaz Kamwi that she thinks there could be something more than friends between her and Hugo.
She revealed, "Sharing a bed this time around is very different. I do think he is fit but is it that I just think he's fit and nothing else?"
"I think I did rule it out in the beginning but I think seeing qualities that were missing in Aaron and seeing them in Hugo has made me really think things through," Sharon added.
"He's a really good communicator and we talk about everything and anything."
However, Shannon took to Instagram during the episode to hit out at Sharon’s confession.
She wrote, "This all of a sudden Sharon and Hugo is soooooo strange she's clutching at straws."
Fans also echoed Shannon’s thoughts, with many accusing Sharon of “faking it” to stay in the villa.
