It’s the show that shouldn’t work but really, really does. Yep, to ease us into the January blues, ITV’s insane show The Masked Singer is officially back to brighten up our lives a little.
The mad format sees HUGE names hide under frankly ridiculous costumes and somehow manage to sing in front of judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross. After each performance and loads of sneaky clues, the judges then have to guess who could be hiding under the weight of the costume.
TV GOLD.
This year the costumes have got even more mad, with Doughnuts, Chandelier and Rockhopper amongst those battling it out.
We’ve only had three episodes of the singing show so far, but viewers are CONVINCED that Love Island voiceover legendIain Stirling is behind the costumes of Bagpipes.
Bagpipes has got to be Scottish, right? In some of the clues, Bagpipes has links to music, tennis and is a lover of rock music as AC/DC was mentioned.
One viewer tweeted, “I'm ready to 'bagpipe up' now, it's Iain Stirling! #MaskedSingerUK #MaskedSinger”, while another also seemed convinced it was Iain, “calling it now,, bagpipes is iain stirling. #TheMaskedSingerUK”

Another very excited viewer wrote, “Oh C'mon it's definitely Iain Stirling behind Bagpipe #MaskedSingerUK”
Other guesses included Rod Stewert, Andy Murray and Richard Madden.
With Iain, who is married to Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore, currently lying low until the next series of Love Island begins, we reckon he definitely has time to try his luck at winning The Masked Singer. What do you reckon?
