Love Island winner Millie Court is the gal you need to go to for relationship advice. The stylish bombshell, 27, may have won the dating show in 2021 with Liam Reardon, 24, but the pair split just one year later. Now, after reuniting in the spring of 2023, the pair are stronger than ever, and Millie said she’s been showing him engagement rings – get the hint, Liam! heat caught up with Millie to talk trading the glam life for van life, and what she thinks of Love Island 2024…

It looks like you’ve had a cracking 2024 so far…

I’ve done so much travelling, I’ve seen places that I’ve never seen before! As a Sagittarius, I am quite adventurous, so I’m very lucky and very grateful to be able to do that.

How was your recent Wales road trip?

We hired out a campervan, which is not my normal little trip away. Liam likes to do very wholesome, outdoorsy nature stuff. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did.

So, you’re normally more of a beach girl than into getting down in nature?

Sunbathing on the beach by the sea, all the way. However, he did take me to this place called Three Cliffs Bay and I went in the sea. It kind of felt like I was on holiday, but actually we were in South Wales.

You’re rocking the beachy blonde at the moment, too!

Last autumn I was planning on going a little bit ginge. I was scared, but I think I’m gonna take the plunge – maybe do that in October time.

You got to dress up for your VO5 campaign. Which was your fave look to do?

Probably the Dua Lipa look. Style and hair-wise, it felt like the best fit. I like to experiment with my hair, and Dua’s the same in that way.

Love Island fans were thrilled when you and Liam got back together. How is life for both of you now?

We’re doing long distance at the moment. We might go as long as two weeks without seeing each other, but when we do, we spend quality time together. I just think that it’s so much better between us this time around.

Did the time apart make you stronger?

Totally. Coming out of Love Island was a massive life change. It’s hard for anyone to deal with, alone or in a relationship. I think getting to grips with that new life, on our own, helped us be able to find ourselves in this new life and new career. When we came back together, we’d got to grips with things, and could focus on each other more this time around.

How did winning Love Island change your life?

Oh my God, it’s been a whirlwind. It’s been a complete change, but it’s been amazing at the same time. I’ve literally loved every single minute of it.

What have been your thoughts on this season so far?

They’ve got a really good cast. Every year, people don’t seem to like certain characters at the beginning of the series, but then you watch it every day and you get to know these people and like them. And it’s all about the drama, isn’t it? Everybody loves to watch drama.

Have you got any favourite Islanders?

I love Mimii and Ayo. I think that they’re gonna go the long run – I hope so, anyway. And also Nicole and Ciaran. I’ve got to be down with the Welshies, obviously.

What advice would you give the cast when they leave?

Enjoy it as much as you can, because it is a very exciting moment. Try not to let what people say online get you down; as long as they can try and push that to the side, they’ll have fun.
