Love Island icon Molly-Mae Hague’s world was turned upside down two weeks ago, when she announced her split from fiancé Tommy Fury.

Now, we’re told that her would-be sister-in-law Paris Fury is supporting her through it – and crossing her fingers this doesn’t mean the end for the couple.

Fans were shocked when Molly-Mae, 25, announced her split from Tommy, also 25, on Instagram. In a statement, she said, "After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way," adding that daughter Bambi, one, was her top priority.

Rumours of infidelity began to circulate almost immediately, with reports claiming the boxer had cheated with multiple women – though Tommy’s team quickly denied the "false allegations".

Now, a source tells heat that Molly-Mae is finding support elsewhere in the Fury family. Revealing that Paris, 34 – who’s married to Tommy’s champion boxer brother Tyson – has reached out, our source says, "Both Paris and Tyson are saying there’s always a place for Molly and Bambi in their family. For Paris, none of this is a big surprise – she’s experienced it with Tyson.

"With the wisdom of hindsight, she knows it’s something that comes with the territory of boxing and fame. She’s choosing her words carefully with Molly and trying to support her, telling her that Tommy absolutely adores her, but was an idiot."

We’re told that Paris advised Molly-Mae to "stand up for herself and draw the line", and our source adds, "Paris knows that’s the only thing men like Tyson and Tommy respect. She was tough with Tyson and refused to accept certain behaviours. She made it clear she would not be disrespected, or else she’d find a man who would treat her like a queen. Now, Tyson doesn’t even dare look in the direction of any other women."

Fans around the world branded Paris a hero last year, after At Home With The Furys landed on Netflix. Having met boxer Tyson, 35, when she was just 15 years old, Paris now shares seven children with him. While they’re one of the most influential couples in the boxing world, their marriage wasn’t always plain sailing.

Back in 2008, Tyson suggested bringing forward the date of their wedding – with Paris later revealing, "I was beginning to realise how impulsive he was. After an ugly slanging match with him outside Mam’s house, I decided to call time on the wedding and our relationship. He thought I was joking, then he realised I was deadly serious."

Since then, Paris has whipped Tyson into shape. Earlier this year, the former heavyweight boxing champ posted a video of him and his wife dancing on their driveway, writing, 'The girl from 2005 who stole my heart – ride or die chick.’

Now, Paris is urging Molly-Mae to take a leaf out of her book. Our source says, "Molly has probably put up with too much because she adores Tommy and wanted to give Bambi the perfect family, but she was letting Tommy walk all over her. Frankly, Paris and Tyson had feared this for a while."

But while Paris is proud to see Molly-Mae put her foot down, we’re told that the Fury duo are holding out hope for a reconciliation. Revealing that Paris and Tyson are stepping into the role of relationship counsellors, our source says, "They feel like they need to be the grown-ups and guide Molly and Tommy through this. Paris doesn’t want Molly to think they’re taking Tommy’s side, because she knows how difficult it could be to get things back on track after that, but she truly feels that they still have a strong future – if Tommy gets his shit together."

The source continues, "Tyson has been straight with his brother, too, telling Tommy what a fool he’s been, and that nothing is worth losing your family over. They really want to help them to work things out – and that probably means knocking some sense into Tommy."
