It’s been a long, cold winter, but Love Island: All Stars’ return to our screens should provided some much needed sunshine. Yes, the dating show spin-off, which sees former Islanders returning for a second shot at love in the South African villa, is back for a second series, with the cast members finally being revealed.
Naturally, the cast reveal came with the normal dose of excitement and complaints (we Love Island fans will never be satisfied), with Islanders stretching back as early as series two getting ready to put on their nicest swimwear and lie around gossiping in the sun. It’s a hard life, being an Islander.
But as the original line-up was announced on Instagram (who knows who might pop up as a bombshell…), there was one Islander whose appearance seemed to confuse fans: Nas Majeed, who appeared on series six.
‘I'm sorry what? Nas is single?!’ one commenter wrote.
While in the villa, Nas met Casa Amor bombshell Eva Zapico, and the pair have been together ever since… or so fans thought.
Speaking to heat ahead of his All Stars appearance, Nas explained what went wrong with him and Eva, after they reportedly split in March 2024.
‘I think it just ran its course, unfortunately. There was no bad blood. It was amicable, which is really nice, especially after spending four years with someone.
‘We're still really good friends to this day. I've met with her a couple times since breaking up as well. We just chatted like old friends.'
He continued, 'I think that's really important to me. I wouldn't want to throw away four years, especially after being put together under such surreal circumstances as well. It’s all good.’
His words might be reassuring, but fans have noticed that Eva has deleted her Instagram ahead of Nas’s appearance on the show.
Still, Nas seems optimistic about returning to All Stars as he told us, 'It was so successful for me the first time around, as you guys can probably imagine, four-year relationship off the back of the show.
'I think I'm hoping for more of the same, but hopefully this time, it will be everlasting.'
Love Island: All Stars returns Monday 13th January at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
