This year’s Love Island couples have been breaking up at an alarming rate since leaving this villa this summer, but – up until recently – there were still two couples going strong: Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies and Uma Jammeh and Wil Anderson.
However, Love Island 2024 runners-up Nicole and Ciaran recently sparked rumours they were no longer together after she deleted Instagram Highlights of their relationship.
The pair have now confirmed they’ve split, but insisted there’s no bad blood between them.
A representative for Nicole and Ciaran issued a statement which read, ‘Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways.
‘They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward.’
The split comes just months after they made the decision to move in together. Back in August, Nicole and Ciaran exclusively confirmed to heat they were taking the major step.
‘So, we have moved in together. Ciaran's moved in to my home,’ Nicole explained, before Ciaran added, ‘Yes, I've moved in to Nicole's house.’
At the time, Nicole admitted that they hadn’t been able to spend much time together in their new home because they’d been so busy.
‘Except we haven't been home, we've been hotel hopping. We technically haven't actually lived in the house yet because we're still up in London and my home's in Wales. So he has moved in, but we haven't experienced living in our home,’ she said.
Ciaran continued, ‘We'd spoken about moving in with each other, and I think it was about three or fours before we left for London that we thought, 'might as well', so yeah, I haven't actually been there.’
Following Nicole and Ciaran’s split, the only remaining couple from this year’s Love Island is Uma and Wil.
Despite his Casa Amor antics, Uma left the villa with Wil when he was dumped and they’ve been going from strength to strength ever since.
