Love Island's Nicole Samuel has opened up on the rumours that her ex, Ciaran Davies, has been spotted on a date with another series 11 star.
She spent last summer coupled up with Ciaran in the Love Island villa and their romance continued to flourish outside of the show.
However, their relationship was sadly short-lived, and the pair announced their split last December.
Their reps said in a statement at the time, ‘Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways.
‘They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward.’
But just weeks after their amicable split, it was reported that Ciaran had been spotted on a date with Casa Amor bombshell Ellie Jackson, who revealed she had been messaging the hunk before entering the villa.
Speaking exclusively to heatworld, Nicole has now discussed how seeing the rumours made her feel.
‘It’s not nice to see but he’s his own person,’ Nicole told us.
‘He’s single so he can do what he wants. He might rush into seeing somebody but for me, I can’t jump from one person to another.
'He’s single at the end of the day and he’s got to focus on himself.’
Ciaran hit back at the rumours himself, posting on soclal media, ‘Apparently, I've been going out on coffee dates. That's the first I've heard.
'If anyone does want to go on a coffee date, we'll sort something...I'm joking. But, no, I haven't been going on dates with anyone, haven't met up with anyone. It's quite funny to be honest, because I don't know where that's even come from.'
He went on to say, ‘I think the last time I saw Ellie was late last year, November time? Before that, I think I've seen her about somewhere, but yeah, me and Ellie haven't been out on any coffee dates.
'There's no romantic or emotional thing going between us. She's a lovely girl, she's a good friend, but that's where it ends and it's the same for her as well.'
Nicole also addressed rumours that she’d enjoyed a cheeky Nando’s date with MMA fighter Oban Elliott.
‘There was 100 per cent not even a Nando’s in the first place,’ she laughed. ‘I don’t know where that came from.
‘There was never ever a date with Oban and there never will be.’
Discussing how rumours about her dating life have affected her since shooting to fame last year, Nicole said, ‘You just have to take it with a pinch of salt.
‘I know what’s true and as long as my family knows what’s true I don’t really care what other people think. It’s going to happen, I signed up to this life.’
