Somehow, we're nearing the end of Love Island, and what a series it's been.
There are far too many series highlights for our word count to possibly handle, but off the top of our heads the crème de la crème moments of Love Island 2024 have to be Joey Essex strutting in as the first bombshell of the series, the Joey, Samantha Kenny, and Grace Jackson love triangle, the fallout of The Grafties, and obv, Casa Amor.
Other than the post-Casa reunion – which is always award-winning television, let's be honest – and watching Casa bombshells redefine the word 'grafting', one of the highlights of this year's Casa Amor was without a doubt watching the OG boys and girls trying to spy on each other from their respective villas.
Fans will already know that the villa and Casa are only a stones throw away from each other (well, just down the road – depends how far you can throw a stone), and watching our jelly OGs try to keep an eye on each other with supersonic hearing and nifty phone camera tricks was a real treat.
However, it seems even us eagle-eyed viewers missed one genius spying method that the OG girls – well, definitely Uma Jammeh – relied on during their time trying time in Casa.
According to Uma, while she only ever used the main villa pool once during her time on the show, she would often frequent the Casa Amor pool as it would provide a much "better view" of the main villa – where her bae Wil Anderson was busy getting to know Casa girl Lucy Graybill at the time.
During a Q&A with her now boyfriend Wil, a fan asked the couple whether they ever used the pool in the main villa, to which Uma replied, "I actually only used the pool once in the villa. We used it. Was it our last day? It was our last day, wasn't it? I didn't really go in it."
She then spilled major tea, by revealing, "I went in the pool in Casa so that I could have a better view of the other villa."
Naughty, naughty, but also, she is all of us.
A loyal Uma returned from Casa Amor to learn that Wil had been getting to know Casa girl Lucy while she had been away. Although Wil chose to remain coupled up with Uma, learning the truth of Wil's indiscretions naturally rocked the bombshell. After a few days of major grafting from Wil, the couple decided to leave the past in the past and even made their relationship official.
However, on day 37, Will was suddenly dumped from the Island, resulting in Uma quitting the show to leave with him. It's giving true love.
While Uma has already made it clear that she has her eye on more telly work in the near future and has even been talking about her career with Vogue, we can't help but wonder whether espionage is also a valid option for this crafty queen.
Saying that, she did seem genuinely shocked when she first learned about Wil and Lucy, so clearly her secret stakeouts weren't that successful.
