It's official, we're at that point of Love Island where it feels like the latest series has been on TV for months.
Turns out it's only been six week but we feel like we know everything about the 2024 Islanders.
Joey Essex is basically a producers at this point, Sean Stone won't shut up about sweets and Mimii Ngulube and Ayo Odukoya can't seem to let go of their romance even after their Casa Amor drama.
And it seems that the whole 'there's 24 hours in a day and it's impossible for producers to include everything in an hour-long episode', is true because when we sat down with Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh they lifted the lid on some of their conversations that were left out of the edit.
Wil explained, "It's mad because we spoke about the future together quite a lot."
"Yeah in a lot of our conversations, especially at the beginning of our connection we spoke about quite a lot about what we're excited do on the outside and things that we love to do," Uma admitted.
Err, why didn't we see any of this?
Wil then added, "From what I can gather, they were prioritising drama over following genuine connections."
And it turns out Wil and Uma had their own adorable joke about being each other's blueberries but that whole chat failed to make it to the final edit.
"That's mad because that was our whole thing," Wil said before Uma explained, "When we first had the night away, in the other villa, where Wil chose me. He was saying his mum always has blueberries in the fridge, and how he loves to eat blueberries.
"And then I said, 'Oh my God, your eyes look like blueberries'. And then we just started eating blueberries together, playing games - chucking them up and throwing them. It was a proper big thing that why I call him my blueberry."
"That's what should be shown on the show. That's what people want to see but like I said, they were prioritising drama over anything else which in my opinion isn't right," Wil added.
Scenes of them chucking blueberries into each other's mouths is giving series one to series four vibes.
Producers if you're reading this, please bring back those scenes.
