We also didn't think Maura Higgins was going to snog McFly guitarist Danny Jones but it turns out Love Island bombshells and musicians are a match made in controversy.
Up until the end of last year, Zara was all loved up with former Made in Chelsea bro Sam Thompson. The couple had been dating for five years - they even had a house and cats together and everything - but split in December, with Zara going on to date Louis.
It turns out that Zara isn't the only one who has returned to the dating world as it has been reported that Sam has also jumped back in the world of romance.
'He has been going out and having fun again,' a source told OK!, 'he's not dating anyone but he's been on dates.'
Not only that but a fan reportedly saw Sam on celeb dating app Raya prior to Zara's night out's with Louis.
'I saw Sam on Raya last week! So he's back on the dating scene as well,' they said on Reddit.
Just as the news dropped that Sam has decided to put himself out there, Zara has taken to social media to declare she is 'happy' before adding, 'The best things in life aren't things.'
Zara was spending some quality time with her pal, Charli Paton and Charli's daughter, Amelie. Unsurprisingly Louis didn't feature, but we are waiting on tenterhooks for one of them to appear on the other's social media.
Although the Doncaster lad wasn't in the Reels and hasn't been posted by Zara herself, the reality TV stars comment section is filled with gifs, memes and pics of Louis which is also unsurprising as there aren't many fans as invested as Directioners.
