'I don't know if I can say this... but I'm going to say it'

In early 2023, Made in Chelsea's Melissa Tattam, while chatting to her BFF Sophie Habboo on their Wednesdays podcast (formerly Wednesdays We Drink Wine) unleashed some wild tea – and we are still not over this hilarious revelation well over a year later.

Melissa and Sophie were discussing Boris Johnson (random but stick with us here) and as Sophie chatted about BJ's long list of kids, Melissa couldn't help but interrupt and boy are we glad she did.

'Oh my god, mic drop,' Melissa laughed much to Sophie's bemusement before continuing, 'I don't know if I can say this... but I'm going to say it.'

The words that fell out of Melissa's mouth have never been uttered before and will probably never be spoken again.

'Boris Johnson's wife has previously DM'd Toby Watkins. And she follows him,' she confessed.

Mic drop indeed. We told you it was comedy gold.

'No you're lying. No you're lying,' Sophie laughed in complete shock.

'Deadly f**king serious,' Melissa told her as she joined in with the hysterical laughter.

Toby Watkins is, of course, Melissa's boyfriend and as Sophie quizzed her pal on what the contents of the message said, we were left gutted when she admitted the message was deleted before they could read it.

Dammit.

This was also a partly educational episode because we were NOT aware that even if you unsend a message the recipient is still aware you tried to contact them.

All those drunken messages you sent to Glen Powell confessing your undying love? Oh he is well aware, even if you did 'unsend' them.
