Married At First Sight Australia viewers will know that there’s been some absolutely unhinged drama on the latest series including Jayden Eynaud’s wild sex confession about his ex (which she insisted wasn’t true), Sara Mesa’s cheating scandal and Jack Dunkley, well, just being Jack.
But it turns out there’s been some serious dramz behind the scenes too as Eden Harper has revealed that the cast were forced out of their apartments at 6am on a Sunday morning due to a completely wild incident.
Eden explained the whole Skye Suites apartment building in Sydney, where the couples live during the experiment, was evacuated in a TikTok video as she filmed the cast members yawning and looking dishevelled as they waited to be let back into their flats.
And it turns out that none other than Lucinda Light was responsible for the mayhem after she accidentally set off the fire alarm in the early hours of the morning in classic Lucinda fashion.
“On a random Sunday morning in Skye, @LucindaLight saged her room and set the fire alarm off at 6am, waking and evacuating the whole building,” Eden told her followers, who were loving the off-screen bedlam.
“I live for Lucinda,” commented one, while another wrote, “The most Lucinda thing to ever happen 😂.”
“Iconic Lucinda behaviour,” added a third.
If you didn’t already know, the Skye Suites are a block of swanky apartments in the heart of Sydney that house the MAFS brides and grooms while they’re on the show.
The lavish flats reportedly cost an average of $530 a night for a couples studio and have amenities including a 24-hour concierge, a spa and sauna, a gym and a heated outdoor pool, which are all included in the price.
Each studio has its own private lounge and balcony as well as a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and luxurious bedroms kitted out with bathrobes, slippes and toiletries.
Not too shabby at all.
