With the new series of Married at First Sight AU currently airing, we could really use a MAFS success story.

Although Married at First Sight is one of the best reality shows on TV, it does not always lead to a successful marriage. However, there are exceptions to this rule, and some couples have lasted long past the wedding day and have even gone on to have a family.

One such exception is Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant, who first met on MAFS Australia series six. Many viewers will remember Cameron making MAFS history by proposing to Jules in their final commitment ceremony and it’s safe to say that everything has worked out for the pair. It’s equally safe to say that we don’t get to write success stories too often when covering the MAFS cast.

The couple went on to get married in Sydney in November 2019, proving the MAFS experts right and showing that there is a method behind the madness. Fans of MAFS Australia who have kept up with the love story will be particularly thrilled to learn that Jules and Cameron have officially announced that they are expecting their second child together.

They announced the news with an adorable Instagram post, captioned, "When 3 becomes 4 🥰.

"We both can only imagine our hearts capacity to love will just keep on expanding… So excited to Announce we have a new addition to the family joining us in July!"

The couple already have their son Oliver, who was born in October 2020, just over a year after they wrapped their season of MAFS. Not only have the pair gone from strength to strength romantically, Jules also went on to launch her very own shapewear line, FIGUR.

As it turns out, the pair have always wanted a bigger family. Jules told Stellar, "We've been trying since Ollie was one, and he is now three-and-a-half."

The mum-of-one also admitted that her second pregnancy experience is proving a lot more enjoyable than her first.

"When I was pregnant the first time, I didn't like all of the attention and the negativity from horrible people about my body.

"This time round, it has been really lovely. I can't hide it anymore. I am popped. It has been nice keeping it between family and friends and a bit more private this time," she told the publication.
