We love when a reality TV star's time on their designated show comes to an end and they start spilling the tea on all the BTS secrets, especially those on Married At First Sight.

Obviously we enjoy being updated on the intensity of Love Island and the mayhem of Made in Chelsea, but nothing compares to the concept of marrying a complete stranger and the chaos that follows.

One person who knows all too well about the world of MAFS UK, is Nathan Campbell.

Nathan is currently all loved up with Love Island 2023 bombshell Abi Moores and the couple were recently guests on the Spill with Will podcast where Nathan chatted about his time on the romance reality TV show.

Will quizzed Nathan on all the important matters including the budget they were given for their wedding day outfits (we're not being sarcastic – this matters to us).

'You do get a contribution,' Nathan confessed, but from what the brides and grooms claim, it's not exactly enough to buy yourself a Tom Ford suit or a Vera Wang gown.

'But I put an extra £2,500 in,' he confessed and, honestly, what an icon, 'I wanted something Italian, I wanted to go all out.'

Not being funny but if we were marrying a total stranger on television we would also be spending some serious dollar on our wedding ensemble. We just don't know where we'd get the dollar from.

'You get £300, £400,' he explained, 'but I wanted to look the bollocks.'

Matched with Lacey Martin on the show, Nathan also admitted to Will that he probably had the 'smoothest' journey and although the duo are no longer together they managed to last for the entirety of the social experiment.
