If you didn't have Mis-Teeq's One Night Stand installed as a ridiculously-overpriced monophonic ringtone on your pink Motorola RAZR back in 2001, who even were you? That song was the bop of all bops, and we'll be eternally grateful to Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash for bringing it to our lives.

Yep - Mis-Teeq were the turn-of-the-millennium garage gurus responsible for Scandalous, All I Want and some iconic fashion choices (bootcut jeans and a bandana, anyone?); but what the hell happened to them? Since the group are pretty much a heat Radio staple, we thought we'd catch up with the Mis-Teeq ladies to find out exactly where life's taken 'em since their days as chart-topping popstar-types.

Sabrina was undoubtedly the voice of the band, being Mis-Teeq's lead singer and serving all the sass on their biggest hits; including Scandalous and B With Me.

Sabrina's still in the pop game, and recently opened up about her struggle with alcohol following the band's break-up on solo track Gone. Describing herself as a 'silent drinker' on the song, Sabrina told the Mirror: "After spending years touring the world, recording and performing, I needed to take some time out of the spotlight. I was very young and needed some downtime from all the madness."It was only then I could refocus on what is important to me: music. I've spent a lot of time in the studio writing and recording new music, and now I have many new tracks ready to go."

She might not have provided lead vocals in Mis-Teeq, but Su-Elise's husky harmonies were crucial to the group's signature sound.

After topping the charts in Mis-Teeq, Su-Elise returned to academia and earned herself a teaching qualification. She now runs performing arts classes at the Su-Elise Stage School in Kent.

Alesha's raps were just iconic, weren't they? Highlights of her MC verses include 'no you can't have it back, silly rabbit,' 'Mis-Teeq with the bump and flex' and 'you got me tremblin' like a little baby girl.' CLASSICS.

Where do we even begin with Alesha, eh? Not only did she manage a pretty successful solo career (The Boy Does Nothing still slaps) and bag a spot on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel following her stint as a contestant in 2009; but Alesha has been a Britain's Got Talent judge since 2012.

Alesha Dixon recently opened up about how she 'thought she had lost everything' as she hit her lowest ebb following the group's split.

Writing candidly to The Big Issue's Letter to My Younger Self, she explained: "My biggest, riskiest decision was to leave Mis-Teeq. I had been in a girl group for eight years. That was my comfort zone.

""But there was an instinct, a feeling towards the end of my time in the group that I wasn't happy.

"And I needed to leave. I was only 25, I hadn't paid off a mortgage, I still had bills to pay. So it was a major, major decision.

"I signed a new record deal and spent a year-and-a-half making an album that the record company shelved, then found myself out of a deal. So I was like, 'oh my God, what have I done?'"
