Spoiler alert: it was Gorgeous

Taylor Swift VIP

Last year may have been the year of Barbie, but 2024 has undisputably been one big celebratory nod to Taylor Swift's sell-out Eras Tour. Friendship bracelets! Surprise songs! 92,000 people singing the bridge of The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived! Whether you donned a Lover-inspired outfit or went full-on Fearless, it was truly the most magical moment of any Swiftie's month/year/life.

But imagine if you saw the Eras Tour as a bonafide VIP? We were very lucky to be invited by Wembley Stadium to check out exactly what the privileges get you Shake It Off in style. Spoiler alert: it's Gorgeous.

There are plenty of hospitality options to explore at Wembley Stadium and we were given access to the Bobby Moore Lounge, which was essentially a huge hall full of food, drink and things to do.

On arrival, we were each given a mini tote bag filled with friendship bracelets, novelty glasses, sweets and an Eras Tour bandana which was a very cute touch.

You could help yourself to as much food as you wanted in the lounge and it reminded us of a very posh buffet you may get on a cruise. There were plenty of gourmet options on offer including freshly carved meats, seafood, burgers, pizza, salads and hotdogs. There was even a dedicated dessert section with a Insta-worthy doughnut wall plus plenty of cakes, sweets, fruit and doughnuts to enjoy. We loved the packets of Pick & Mix on standby for you to take to your concert seat. Sweet.

We quickly got used to being a VIP and loved the privilege of sitting down with some delicious food, a glass of wine and having a natter before the show started. How the other half live, eh?

As expected, there was also unlimited wine, beer and champers on offer, as well as bottled soft drinks you could take with you to enjoy during the show - it is a four-hour-plus concert, after all!

The staff in VIP - and the entire stadium staff in fact - were so incredibly attentive and happy to help at all times, it was definitely something we noticed both times we attended the concert.

As well as there being plenty to eat and drink, there were also stalls where you could get an airbrush tattoo, a glam station offering festival-worthy glitter and a bracelet-making station.

The lounge also had a massive Bejeweled-inspired dancefloor complete with a DJ and mirrorball (very on-brand) and this came to life after the show had ended. Guests were encouraged to pop back into the lounge where there were a plethora of sausage rolls (veggie options were also available) and the dance floor was filled with people shimmying to their heart's content to the cheesiest bangers. There was also a photobooth which we definitely made a lot of use out of.

Honestly, the vibes were immaculate and the after-party was almost as good as the concert. Almost!

Another plus of having an after-party to attend meant that you left the post-stadium rush and the queues were a lot more bearable a couple of hours later.

All in all, it was a truly magical evening and a once-in-a-lifetime memory we will forever treasure. Cheers, Wembley.
