Long-running MTV reality show Ex on the Beach was given a star-studded makeover last year when the likes of Calum Best, Joey Essex, Michael Griffiths and Sophie Kasaei took part in the first ever Celebrity series and there’s good news for fans as the show is BACK.
After months of rumoured production delays to the coronavirus pandemic, the show reportedly wrapped filming last month.
Although it’s not yet known when the series will hit our screens, there’s been hella speculation about who will be taking part. Among the rumoured line-up are some of our fave reality TV icons from shows like Love Island, TOWIE, Geordie Shore, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and more.

She's no stranger to dating shows having appeared on Love Island, Celebs Go Dating and Celeb Ex in the City and now Megan Barton-Hanson is reportedly adding Celebrity Ex on the Beach to list. Wes Nelson and Demi Sims are among her famous exes, so could they appear on the show too?

Megan and her new flame James Lock are said to have struck up a romance while filming the show and there are even rumours she could appear alongside him on TOWIE. According to reports, Lockie's ex Yazmin Oukhellou was supposed to confront him on the beach but pulled out at the last minute.

Geordie Shore legend Nathan Henry is also said to be heading out to Tenerife to come face to face with some of his exes.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK series two star A'Whora is another name linked to the next series of the MTV show.

Megan won't be the only Love Island star on the show as 2018 Islander Kaz Crossley is also rumoured to be taking part.

It's claimed that Kaz is set for a showdown with her ex-boyfriend Theo Campbell following their shock split last year.

It's believed CEOTB is the next TV role for Ella Wise after she was axed from TOWIE in their mass cast cull earlier this year.

During her time on the show, Ella is believed to have begun dating Katie Price's ex Kris Boyson. He was rumoured to appear on the show alongside his ex Bianca Gascoigne, but she reportedly pulled out before filming began.

Too Hot to Handle's Kori Sampson is no stranger to spending the summer surrounded by hot singletons in an exotic locale, so he'll fit right in on Ex on the Beach.

Following his split from Love Island girlfriend Priscilla Anyabu, Mike Boateng has reportedly been lined up for Ex on the Beach. But will his former flame turn up to rain on his parade?

MAFS Australia fans will recognise Drew Brauer, who had a turbulent time on the Aussie dating show. Still, it's clearly not put him off reality TV as he's rumoured to have signed up for EOTB.

He'll reportedly be joined by his ex KC Osborne. The pair met for the first time when they walked down the aisle but things ended in tears when he dumped her just weeks after they renewed their vows.

The Love Trap: is the age of the TV dating show finally over?
Leading the line-up are reality veterans Megan Barton-Hanson and James Lock, who are said to have struck up a romance while filming the show in Tenerife. The pair first sparked rumours they were dating earlier this month when they were pictured snogging on a night out following their return to the UK.
At the time, an onlooker told The Sun, “Megan and James looked inseparable. You couldn’t have squeezed a cigarette paper between the two of them. They were clearly having a great time and seemed very taken with each other.”
Megan and Lockie have since gone Instagram official as they recently gave fans a glimpse into their date night at swanky Essex hotspot Aspera.
They aren’t the only couple who appear to have formed on the show either as axed TOWIE star Ella Wise was recently seen holding hands with Katie Price’s ex Kris Boyson. Although their relationship is said to be still in the early stages, a source close to the pair has claimed, “It's going really well and they really like each other."

One person who won't be appearing on the next series of Celebrity Ex on the Beach is 2019 Islander Anton Danyluk, who was reportedly cut from the show as none of his exes were willing to take part.
An EOTB insider revealed, "One of Anton's exes has already dropped out of filming because she's got a new boyfriend and doesn't want to be away from him."
On/off TOWIE star Yazmin Oukhellou also recently revealed that she pulled out of the show as she didn't want to be reunited with her ex Lockie, while Bianca Gascoigne is claimed to have quit the show before filming too.
When does the next series of Celebrity Ex on the Beach start?
MTV are yet to confirm the line-up or reveal when the show will air, but the last series of Celebrity Ex on the Beach hit our screens in January so we're expecting the next series early next year.
