Googlebox is hands down the nations favourite show, especially Celebrity Googlebox, but we often wonder - how are the participants so gosh darn relaxed when there’s a massive camera watching them, watch TV?
It seems as if Celebrity Googlebox regular Gyles Brandreth has the answers, the main one being... food.
When asked about the secret behind the scenes shenanigans by Esther Rantzen on That’s After Life, Gyles revealed Googlebox producers deliver the cast their favourite foods to eat while watching, to help relax and them forget they’re being filmed.
He said, "They sent round Deliveroo with different treats: fish and chips, indeed the chocolate eclairs, the crisps and all of that.
"So these little sweetmeats arrive and they like you to be seen bringing it in and you can hear that little chit-chat and then you have the snacks together. It's great fun."
It just shows you even celebrities are persuaded by free food- we’re all human in the end.

Gyles also opened the lid on how the cameras are set up, stating, "They come to your house at the beginning and they set up the camera in the room and then go away for two months.
"The cameras are permanently in the room and you genuinely forget they are there, they're small discreet cameras.
"Then at set times you go in and you press the button and they don't give you a choice over the programmes, you watch the ones they select for you, but you're alone in the building and that lulls you into that false state of relaxation."

More news this week was released about the inner workings of the Googlebox world.
Googlebox households start filming on Friday, with editing beginning on the following Tuesday and Wednesday, and Craig Cash’s voiceover being added on Thursday.
The cast films for two compulsory six hour shifts a week, with a pay check of £1,500 a month, with the decision on how the check is split up to the family. We wonder if the Malone’s rottweilers get a split of the check- it’s only fair.
