Curtis Pritchard has come under fire from Celebs Go Dating viewers once again after being accused of “leading on” his date Daniella Clarke.
After dating several singletons throughout his time on the show, the former Love Island star struck up a connection with Daniella and chose to spend his last day in the mansion with her.
But when it came to deciding whether they would pursue a relationship outside the mansion during a commitment ceremony on their final night, Curtis turned down Daniella when she revealed she would like to continue getting to know him.
He made his feelings clear as they discussed their relationship in front of the other couples, telling Daniella, “Honesty is a key thing for me, because I think there's too many people that lie on this planet. And I always want to be telling the truth because I think if you lie to somebody, or to yourself, you're only going to hurt people in the long run.
“But right now, I think I want to stay single. I'd be lying to myself and to you if [I said] I want more than just a friendship."
After an awkward pause, Daniella replied, “Don't worry, be true to yourself.”

One wrote, “If Curtis felt how he did in his speech he should [have] done what Kerry Katona did and show up single, not take Daniella up and embarrass the poor girl.”
“Catching up on Celebs Go Dating and Curtis Pritchard shouldn’t have been on the show, he clearly didn’t want to find anyone and how he ended it with Daniella at the finale, what a way to get someone’s self esteem down by humiliating them on national TV,” tweeted another.
A third remarked, “Why did Curtis go into the mansion if he wanted to commit to himself.”

This isn’t the first time Curtis has been accused of “leading on” one of his dates in the Celebs Go Dating mansion, after fans criticised the way he treated his first date Kesia Trevor-Massey.
He appeared to take a shine to Kesia after they met at the agency’s first mixer, but Curtis later told dating gurus Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson that he wasn’t sexually attracted to her.
Curtis and Kesia went on another date after being encouraged to try again and even shared a kiss, but although she told her fellow singles she felt a connection with him, he admitted he wasn’t feeling it to the other celebs.
Viewers fumed at Curtis’ mixed messages and compared it to his relationship with Amy Hart in the Love Island villa, with one tweeting, “Curtis has basically led Kesia on like how he led Amy on during Love Island. What an idiot!”
