It’s been eight years since he was last on the show, but if you cast your minds back to 2017 then you might remember former Gogglebox star Josh Tapper.

Josh rose to fame on the Channel 4 show alongside his mum Nikki, dad Jonathan and sister Amy when they joined the cast in 2013 and we basically watched him grow up on screen before he quit the show to move into politics.

But not only has he got a completely different career this days, Josh is also now married after tying the knot with his long-term girlfriend Hannah.

Josh - who is now 27, btw (yes, we feel old too) - married Hannah nine years after they first started dating and their big day was captured by Josh's sister Amy, who took to social media to share loads of snaps.

Alongside her post, Amy wrote, 'The new Mr and Mrs Tapper! No words to describe this incredible day from start to finish…

'I'd say welcome to the family @hannahtapper_ but you've been apart of it for 9 years now… this just means officially forever. I love you both more than words will ever describe @joshtapper.'

Doesn't Josh look so suave? He's definitely come a long way since his days on the Gogglebox sofa.

After working as an apprentice at No.10 alongside then-Prime Minister Theresa May, Josh branched out on his own and and ran to be an MP last year.

Last March, Josh took to X to reveal that he’d been selected as Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Hartsmere.

'Thank you so much to local members for your support - I won’t let you down,' he told his followers.

Unfortunately Josh didn't win the seat after being beaten by former Deputy Prime Minister, Oliver Dowden, who has been the MP for Hartsmere since 2015.

Josh's political career started when he bagged an apprenticeship at the Cabinet Office. At the time, a source said, 'Channel 4 will, of course, keep the door open for him but it’s a really exciting opportunity for him.'

They told The Mirror, 'It’s a much coveted job. Josh has already started having meetings within No.10.'

Josh's parents, Jonathan and Nikki, and his sister Amy continued to appear on the show after he left, although they too quit the show not long after.

Amy went on to appear on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 alongside Love Island legends Olivia Attwood and Eyal Booker, TOWIE's Chloe Sims and actual Sugababe Mutya Buena.

During the coronavirus pandemic, dad Jonathan was left fighting for his life but thankfully made a full recovery and has since been documenting his weight loss on social media.
